PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale remover used for chemical cleaning of an evaporation pipe of a boiler using oxygenated supply water, and a chemical cleaning method.SOLUTION: A scale remover contains oxalic acid and/or ammonium oxalate, a chelating agent, an organic acid other than the oxalic acid and a reducing agent. Scale particles of which a mean diameter is smaller than 20 μm are dissolved and removed by arranging a washing circuit e penetrating an evaporation pipe b of a boiler a and injecting the scale remover and circulating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
