PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent which ensures storage stability and a measuring range which enable obtaining a stable result by suppressing HGD activity of LD formulated in a reagent causing an increased blank reaction in ALT reagent, and suppressing the increased reagent blank, and to provide a method for measurement using the reagent.SOLUTION: The reagent for measurement of alanine aminotransferase activity is formulated in combination with L-lactic acid dehydrogenase which reacts with an L-form of lactate dehydrogenase and daringly D-lactate dehydrogenase which reacts with a D-form of the substrate.
