PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an asphalt mixture capable of suppressing fuel consumption of a running vehicle and reducing COdischarge; an asphalt paving method; and an asphalt pavement body.SOLUTION: An asphalt pavement body 1 is laid by placing and compacting an asphalt mixture containing aggregate 2 and asphalt. The aggregate 2 has a passage mass percentage through sieve openings of 4.75 mm of 90 to 100 mass%, a passage mass percentage through sieve openings of 2.36 mm of 20 to 40 mass%, a passage mass percentage through sieve openings of 0.075 mm of 5 to 10 mass%, and a maximum grain size of 3 to 8 mm. The aggregate 2 is so arranged that smooth surfaces thereof faces approximately upward.
