The invention provides a film end cutting method and device, and a production method of an optical film, wherein the method and device can carry out the stable conveying and cutting of a film end part. The method comprises a conveying step: enabling a film end part (12a) of a film conveying in a conveying direction to pass through an air supply pipe (31), and carrying out conveying through wind; a cutting step: employing a rotating cutter tool composed of a fixed cutter (32a) and a rotating cutter (32b) to cut the film end part (12a). The air supply pipe (31) is provided with an air inlet (34), and generates wind in the direction of pressing the film end part (12a) towards the fixed cutter (32a).
