PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive material and radiation compatible fan filter unit and a radioactive material and radiation compatible highly clean environmental system, capable of easily achieving a highly clean air environment in which an air is free from radioactive materials with almost no radioactive materials or radioactive material-containing fine particles, and preventing radiation exposure due to these materials.SOLUTION: A radioactive material and radiation compatible fan filter unit 15 include: a dust filter 153; a blower fan 152, and a casing 151 which is made of a radiation shielding material and has an air inlet 155 and an outlet 158. The dust filter 153 and the blower fan 152 or the dust filter 153 are accommodated in the casing 151. Radiation emitted from the radioactive materials and/or the radioactive material-containing fine particles collected in the dust filter 153 is shielded by the casing 151 and radiation shielding members 156, 159 provided in the casing 151.
