Provided are a light stabilizer master batch and a method for producing the same, which have improved the problem that blocking occurs with time due to changes in environmental temperature, which makes it difficult to handle due to solidification. (A) To 100 parts by mass of silica produced by a wet process, (B) 80 to 300 parts by mass of a hindered amine compound represented by the following general formula (1) is added and mixed, and then (C) a dry process. It is a light stabilizer masterbatch formed by adding 5 to 50 parts by mass of silica produced in (1) and mixing. (In Formula (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, a hydroxyalkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxyalkoxy group, or an oxy radical, and R2 represents 1 to 1 carbon atoms. 30 represents an alkyl group having 30 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms, or a group represented by the following general formula (2).
