Some methods can include identifying notification capabilities of a plurality of system devices installed in a region, detecting an occurrence of an event, identifying a location of a user within the region, and identifying at least one of the plurality of system devices that includes one of the notification capabilities for presenting the notification of the occurrence of the event and that is within a predetermined distance of the location of the user.
