METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MULTIPLE DOT PLOT ANALYSIS

The present disclosure relates to a method for analyzing a genome sequence, and more particularly, to a genome analysis method for modifying an existing reference genome sequence information. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a genome analysis method for modifying sequence information of an existing reference genome, in which the genome assembly of a test sequence using a de novo assembly is compared with an existing reference genome using a multiple dot plot analysis method to quickly and efficiently perform gap closing of an existing reference genome. The present disclosure also relates to a method for identifying gene variations on the genome sequence of a subject specimen by comparing a reference sequence modified by the genomic analysis method and a de novo assembled test sequence. In particular, it relates to a method for identifying haplotype-specific gene variations.
