The present invention relates to an electrode coating composition for manual arc welding of structural steel and cast steel parts, whose chemical composition, by weight % is as follows: marble flour 16,7?18 calcium fluorite 22,0?23,0 chalk 9,0?11,0 rutile 5,0?6,0 ferrotitanum 9,0?11,0 ferrosilicon 2,7?3,3 ferro-manganese 5,4?6,6 ferrochromium 3,1?3,9 potassium feldspar 4,0?5,0 talmagnesium bromide 2,4?3,6 potassium alginate 0,8?1,2 silicon carbide 0,2?1,4 iron powder up to 100% the particle size of silicon carbide (SiC) is in the range 50 ? 60 nm ± 5 nm. The coating composition subject to the patent application provides higher rigidity and increases the wear resistance of the welded metal. The tests show a significant ejection of the structure and a well-formed seam.
