The power commutator has three phases covering one sector of 120o. On the carrier flange (1) is mounted a spring energy accumulator (2). On three straight bars (3) of insulating material are fastened an insulation cylinder (7), an upper insulation flange (6) with resistors (16), a middle insulation flange (5) with three main vacuum arc-suppressing chambers (14) and three supplementary vacuum arc-suppressing chambers (15) and a lower metal flange (4) on which is mounted via bearings a common main actuating shaft (9). Concentrically to it is mounted via bearings a common supplementary tubular actuating shaft (31). On the shaft (9) there is an insulation disk (40) with toe cams, which command the three main vacuum arc-suppressing chambers (14), and on the shaft (31) there is an insulation disk (45) which commands the three supplementary vacuum arc-suppressing chambers (15). Thus it is achieved an individually shut down of the rated and interchange current. On the shaft (9) is fastened an insulation disk (20) with carriers (22) with contact pins (23) which connect internal contact arcs (25) and external contact half-arcs (26, 27) with an insulation gap located in the middle of the respective phase. Similarly, the shaft (31) has an insulation disk (32) with carriers (33) with pins (34) which also connect inner arcs (35) with the outer half-arcs (37, 38) to an insulation gap located in the middle of the respective phase, below the first gap. The two rolling-contact bearings (42, 47), which one by one command the main and supplementary chambers, are also located one below the other in the middle of the respective phase.
