The present invention relates to a process of producing butadiene from an ethanol filler comprising at least 80% by weight of ethanol comprising a step of converting ethanol to acetaldehyde, a step of butadiene extraction, a step washing with water of gaseous by-products, a step of elimination of impurities and brown oils, a step of effluent treatment, a step of first butadiene purification, a later step of butadiene purification, this ethanol loading feeding this extraction step butadiene, the arrangement of the steps and the recyclables allowing to maximize the recycle and minimize the consumption in water and energy.
