The present Invention discloses a process for obtaining an Additive or Curing Agent from microalgae used in thermosetting Epoxy Resin or unsaturated Polyester Resins,It comprises the steps of: (a) preparation of the micro through Drying and reduction of Algae; (b) Direct transesterification of the micro Dry; (c) preparation of the /Methylated Lipids obtained from step (b) Separation and purification; (d) epoxidation of methylated Lipids using an oxidizing AgentA carboxylic acid and an Acid Catalyst; and (e) preparation and delivery of epoxidised methylated Lipids obtained in STEP (d),By Separation and purification using an apolar Solvent and Water.In addition, it discloses a method for hardening the thermosetting Epoxy Resin or unsaturated Polyester Resins from an Additive or hardening Agent of microalgaeIt comprises the steps of: (i) mixing the Additive or Curing Agent obtained by the method of claims 1 to 24,With an Epoxy Resin or unsaturated Polyester resin in a proportion of 1 to 30%; (ii) to incorporate a Crosslinking agent; (iii) to treat the mixture of Step (ii) at a temperature of between 20 and 80 degreesPostcurar; and (iv) the mixture of Step (iii) at a temperature between 80 and 120 degrees.
