The subject of the solution is a nanocomposite layer prepared by a combination of electrospinning and electroblowing of a collagen solution containing hydroxyapalite nanoparticles and polyethylene oxide, wherein after preparation and crosslinking the layer is comprised of 75 to 100 wt. % type I collagen fibers, 5-15 wt. % hydroxyapatite and 0 - 1 wt. % polyethylene oxide. Furthermore, the object is to provide a method for producing such a layer and a method of deprotecting antibiotics to release them more efficiently without increasing cytotoxicity. The method comprises impregnating the crosslinked sterilized collagen / hydroxyapatite layers with an antibiotic solution. The subject of the solution is also orthopedic and dental implants based on metal alloys electrostatically covered with this composite layer based on collagen nanofibers with integrated hydroxyapatite nanoparticles and antibiotic or combination of anbiotics.
