The invention falls within the field of ergonomics and is particularly meant to be used for comparative assessment of work processes and work technologies or the work techniques necessary for the performance thereof. This method for comparative assessment of work processes and work technologies designates that the heart rate data of a worker is transmitted using a wireless connection, through a receiver, to the basic computer. The worker's physical and physiological data is entered into the basic computer and then a calculation is made of the total energetic load incurred by the worker for physiological and directly work-related purposes as well as of the worker's intensity of work. In addition, a video camera is used to capture a video of the activities performed by the worker. The resulting data is displayed and processed on the basic computer. Such method is used for the assessment of the work environment and work technologies in the workflow, without causing any disturbance for the worker and by retaining their sense of comfort, while allowing any later analysis of the data, as and when necessary.
