The present invention provides for system and method based on dynamic hotspot technology for retrieving information of an object or an area of interest in an interactive virtual environment wherein the object or the area of interest is identified by dynamic hotspots created through a marker icon or a polygon object in the virtual environment; and displaying stored information in a window on the identified object or area to retrieve information on the object or area of interest. The system also enables manipulation of the sections and hotspots in the panoramic view by dynamically varying the input parameters with external functions and live information.
