A system for providing a distributed computing service platform for microfinance / banking, transaction system comprising at least one banking transaction processing system including a gateway machine; at least one central server operable to transmit data to and receive data from said banking transaction processing system; a memory storage device that maintains banking transaction information for a plurality of customers; a communication network that communicates banking transaction information between said central server and a remote device, the communication network enabling the plurality of remote device access to banking transaction information in online and offline mode; and a processing module, the processing module being configured to perform operations using the banking transaction information communicated by the communication network and stored by the memory storage device and to provide microfinancing, the said transaction information operations being associated with microfinancial and transaction management services and rules of banking institution.
