ABSTRACT The present invention relates to the novel natural product based, biodegradable, non-toxic alkyl polyglucoside (APG™s), the method of manufacturing Nano-particles of APG™s, their suitable formulations and use as biostimulant for agro- and plant applications, for improved productivity and enhanced quality of farm produce The novel Nano-APG™s are useful for agro- protection, plant growth and yield enhancement. The novel Nano-APGs presumably work through soil, by killing insects, pest, bacteria, fungus, virus (pathogens) and helps in water retention, soil remediation, soil wetting and anti-freezing etc. The novel Nano- APGs and their beneficial effects on soil ultimately results in enhancement of growth and yields of agro-, plant based products. Additionally, the novel Nano-APGs increase the brix content and shelf life of post-harvested products (slowing down the ripening of products). Further utility of novel Nano-APGs have been established by significant reduction in the use of fertilizers and pesticides/insecticides etc. Additionally, the novel Nano-APG is non-mutagenic and non-skin irritant and work as an adjuvant, translocation promoter and cation exchange enhancer. Finally, this novel invention of Nano-APGs and their suitable formulations disclose a cost effective and highly productive biostimulant for varied agro- and plant applications, with improved productivity.
