ABSTRACT PWM Scheme and Inverter Structures and methods of operating thereof� Embodiments herein provide a single-phase inverter and method of PWM generation with multi-carrier signal. Additional switches are added in series in addition to switches in the single-phase inverter. A gate pulse is generated according to a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) scheme, for the switches and additional switches operating in the positive half cycle and the negative half cycle.
