摘要

A device to generate electricity using the wind energy. This device is a novel method of horizontal axis wind mill, comprising of a vertical central rod vertical axis sleeve with which the popping up drag door pans are attached laterally and vertically in multiple numbers at equal distances and at equal angles. The popping up drag door/s which are attached with the popping up drag door pans by means of pivotal hinges, the pressure release doors which is built-in with each the popping up drag door pan and a force transferring arrangement which transfers the mechanical force from the vertical central rod to the generator. The popping up drag door/s are open able only one side of the frame with the help of door stoppers and do not cross over to the other side of the frame. The popping up drag doors of two opposite popping up drag door pans opens towards opposite direction. The popping up drag door/s are aerodynamically shaped airfoils. While the wind blows over the wind mill, the door/s of one popping up drag door pan is closed by the wind and pushed back by the blowing wind and results in rotation of the vertical central rod. Simultaneously, the door/s of opposite popping up drag door pan are forcefully opened by the wind force and allow the wind to pass through the gaps in between the opened doors and the opposite pan gives no resistance to the wind.
