The present invention discloses a multi-vision grading machine for grading garlic and a method for grading garlic using a multi-vision grading machine. The grading machine includes at least one controller, a garlic introducing unit, a separation unit, a collector unit, an in-feed unit, a plurality of guide ways of in-feed unit, a warming chamber, a singulator, a plurality of optical examination beds, at least one conveyor, a first set of optics unit comprising of at least one top and at least one bottom optics units , at least one thermal chamber, at least one gas sensor unit, a second set of optics unit comprising of at least one top and at least one bottom optics units, a third set of optics unit, at least one ejection unit, a plurality of grade collecting chutes, a plurality of grade containers, and a cleaning mechanism. The machine is effective in grading each garlic by visual, aroma and thermal analysis based ˜multi-grade data analysis™ technique in an automated, controlled and synchronous manner to achieve high quality grading.
