APPLICANT: SRI BALAJI VIDYAPEETH & Dr ABHISHEKSHAJI VARGHESE TITLE: MELODIOUS BRUSH MATE FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED CHILDREN ABSTRACT The present invention shall disclose a sound generating toothbrush for visually impaired children to create tooth brushing an excitement, an entertaining environment and enjoyable one. The tooth brush comprises of brush portion and handle portion 4 . The brush portion includes plurality of bristles 2 implanted therein and a shank 3 . The handle portion 4 is elongated and detachably attached to the brush portion through the shank 3 . Further the handle portion 4 is housed with digital sound generator with memory comprising of electronically connected integrated circuits 14 , printed circuit boards 13 , amplifiers 12 , capacitors 8 , speakers 6,10 , memory card 7 , rechargeable port 11 and a rechargeable power source battery 15 through connecting wire 9 . Moreover a push button 5 having on/off provision is disposed on the handle 4 and electronically connected to the digital sound generator with memory to activate and deactivate the digital sound generator with memory by pushing on and off. The tooth brush is characterized in providing a voice message conveying oral hygiene instructions, brushing techniques and a musical beat during brushing procedure in a predetermined time period to user after pushing on the push button 5 .
