摘要

The present invention relate to model of transmission line with space vector based static synchronous Series compensator (SSSC) for reactive power compensator with less harmonics in receiving end voltage and current. The complete set is unique hence its performance demonstrates the vast application on large interconnected grid system. The active power, harmonics in current and voltage at receiving end has been observed with PWM based switching and space vector based switching applied to voltage source converter. The EHV transmission lines are working at very high voltages therefore external controlled is difficult in practice. Hence its proto type model is relevant to exhibit real power control by using SSSC. The harmonics in current and voltage at receiving end is also less as compared to the pulse width modulation based SSSC.
