The coupling serves for connecting two conduits (1, 2) of a vacuum conveying device with each other. It comprises a coupling piece (3) provided on the first conduit (2) and a counter coupling piece (5) which is insertable into the coupling piece (3) and provided on the second flexibly embodied conduit (1). A holding ring (15) supporting a transponder (19) is freely rotatable on the second conduit (1) about the axis of the counter coupling piece (5). A sensor (12) on the first conduit (2) is correlated with the transponder (19).
