The present invention relates to a fibre optic intubation sleeve comprising hollow tubular body having a wall and defining an axis to guide and orient a fibre optic bronchoscope into a trachea, the hollow tubular body having: a distal end having a bevelled shape to further guide the fibre optic bronchoscope; and a slit cut through the wall longitudinally from the distal end along a distal one-half of length of the hollow tubular body and parallel through the axis, the slit widens along a proximal one-half length of the hollow tubular body; and an oxygen-tubing fixedly mounted on the hollow tubular body and having a predetermined number of perforations distributed equidistantly across a length of the oxygen-tubing; and a universal anaesthetic circuit connector connected with the oxygen-tubing towards a proximal end of the hollow tubular body.
