This invention relates to HINDUSTAN Commercial charging station of figure 1 for electric vehicles for commercial EV charging solution with safety and protection, communication, metering and billing/payment option using power conditioning 2, relay and driver 3 with EVSE controller 8, onboard charger 6, energy meter 12 and communication (wireless/Ethernet cable) device 11 to overcome the EV charging related problems in cities. The power conditioning 2 will suppress any unwanted signal/noise from input 1 and give filtered output to the relay and driver 3. The HMI panel 13 is used for any EV user to set charging time, the sequence in multiple EVs case, and charging energy supplied to any EV battery pack 7. This invention proposes a commercial EV charging station and its sustainable deployment with respect to various business opportunities. The proposed system is using single-phase, 220 volts, 16-40 amp plug for charging EVs. Analogous to available fueling pumps of a conventional vehicle, the proposed commercial charging system can charge the vehicle in 4-6 hours.
