This invention relates to a hydrogen peroxide synthesis by hydrogenation of aromatic organic compound using Cenosphere supported catalyst. The invention related to the hydrogen peroxide synthesis by hydrogenation of aromatic organic compound comprising the following steps: (i) Pretreatment of Cenosphere; (ii) Deposition of a metal on pretreated Cenosphere; and (iii) Hydrogenation of said aromatic organic compound by Cenosphere supported metal catalyst obtained from step (ii) Further, the invention is most particularly related to a hydrogen peroxide synthesis by hydrogenation of 2-ethylanthraquinone using Cenosphere supported Palladium catalyst.
