The proposed method, which is schematically shown in Fig. 1, allows to simulate the expected results of color laser marking experiments and to execute them with a laser on the test surface, creating a laser marking on it. The modeling process of expected results takes into account the characteristic features 3 of the design of the used laser system and represents the results in a compact form as the sets of parameter matrices 4 and 5, whose values 7 are conditionally formatted as color maps for more convenient identification of complex visual patterns.
