The invention relates to microbiology and biotechnology, namely to a strain of blue-green microalga, which can be used in microbiological, pharmaceutical, cosmetic industries, as well as in zootechnics and phytotechnics.The strain of blue-green microalga Nodularia harveyana (Thwaites) Thuret. is deposited in the National Collection of Nonpathogenic Microorganisms of the Republic of Moldova under the number CNMN-CB-12 and can be used as a source of proteins, lipids and carbohydrates.
