COMPOSITION TO ELIMINATE TOXIC AGROCHEMICALS IN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.

The present disclosure is related to a novel composition to eliminate toxic agrochemicals in fruits and vegetables before human consumption, comprising a mixture of sodium hydroxide with potassium hydroxide, both dissolved in water, wherein the concentration of the solution defined by the mixture of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide dissolved in water, is from 3% to a 30% and preferably in a 7.5%; the sodium hydroxide ratio regarding the potassium hydroxide dissolved in water, is of 2 to 1; and to be used in the detoxification of fruits and vegetables has to be diluted in a 0.01% ratio in water, that is, 10 ml per liter of water.
