The present disclosure is related to a nucleus for toroidal-type electrical transformers whose body is formed by a sheet whose cross section (81) comprises a plurality of steps (82) that are formed by simultaneously cutting both sides of said sheet presenting a change in width from the lesser to greater to the first half (83) of the width of the cross section, or from greater to lesser than half of the nucleus to the opposite half (84) of the cross section of the same. The transformer nucleus is part of an assembly with an insulating layer (85) and a coil where if the insulating layer (85) is placed on the steps (82), free spaces are formed, through which an insulating fluid that exchanges the heat resulting from the electrical losses of the nucleus can flow, sending said heat outwards by convection with a fluid in which the nucleus core assembly for transformer with insulating layer and a coil is immersed.
