The present invention relates to a mechanism for modifying the angle of attack of the blades of horizontal axis aero-generators housed in the nose or hub of the wind turbine. The said mechanism consists of a gear arrangement driven by a motor perpendicular to the plane of the gears, which rotates an endless control screw in direct contact with the transmission gear. This movement drives all the gears to change the angle of attack of the blades, thus taking advantage of the root profile of the blade. The change of angle allows reducing or increasing the speed of rotation of the wind turbine related to the wind velocity received by the device. The present invention aims to position efficiently the blades, thereby preventing damage to the wind turbine and operating at the optical angular velocity for the electrical generation equipment.
