This invention relates to the new use of the compound 2-(R)-(4-Fluoro-2-methyl-phenyl)-4- (S)-((8aS)-6-oxo-hexahydro-pyrrolo[1,2-a]-pyrazin-2-yl)-piperid ine-1-carboxylic acid [1-(R)-(3,5-bis-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-ethyl]-methylamideor pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and pharmaceutical compositions containing it for the treatment of chronic cough, particularly chronic cough due or associated with interstitial lung diseases (IDLs), including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), with lung tumours or with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
