A contact information recommendation method and apparatus, which relate to the technical field of terminals. The method comprises: determining the age of a mobile terminal owner (101); determining a candidate contact from a plurality of contacts on the basis of the age of the mobile terminal owner and contact head portraits of the plurality of stored contacts (102); and recommending contact information of the candidate contact upon receipt of a sharing instruction of an appointed image, the appointed image being any image in a photo album to be shared (103). A candidate contact is determined from a plurality of contacts, and contact information of the candidate contact is recommended upon receipt of a sharing instruction of an appointed image, thereby improving the speed and accuracy for searching for the contact information, shortening the search time, and improving the image sharing efficiency.
