The present invention relates to an anchor device for a fall protection device, comprising a davit structure having a mast and a boom, wherein the boom is mounted at a first end to the mast with a boom mounting unit, The boom mounting unit comprises a boom sleeve having a through-going opening through which the mast extends, wherein the boom sleeve is movable in longitudinal direction along the mast to adjust a height level of the boom and wherein the boom is fixedly mounted to the boom sleeve such that a downward force exerted on a second end of the boom, opposite to the first end, results in clamping of the boom sleeve on the mast.
