The invention relates to a continuous-flow modular parallelepipedal reactor for simultaneous processes of photocatalysis and adsorption based on adsorbing and photocatalytic substrates in suspension, as pellets, or deposited on pellets, meant for advanced purification of waste water by diminishing the concentration of pollutants of various classes, for pilot scale application or industrial application for purification micro-stations. According to the invention, the reactor consists of several identical vertical parallelepipedal reactor modules, a module consisting of a parallelepipedal hydraulic subsystem (A) comprising two parallelepipedal plates (1 and 2) between which a parallelepipedal body (3) is vertically placed in the center and, on the laterals, some transparent plates (5) fixed by means of some exterior frames (7), where the suspension/waste water intake into the subsystem is achieved by means of some equidistant holes (J and K), from the plate (1), with the axes inclined, in relation to the vertical, in different senses, into the plate (2) there being fixed some covers (12) which may support some perforated plates (14), for fixing some pellets (15), of a hydraulic connection (18) for discharging the suspension/water, a detachable parallelepipedal subsystem (B) for generating radiation, which comprises a radiation source (19) with adjustable intensity and spectrum, comprising the UV and VIS tubular electric lamps (20) supported by a frame (23) on which, a panel (24) is mounted at the upper side, wherein some ventilators (25) and a sensor (26) for measuring the temperature within the enclosure are fixed, as well as a subsystem (C) for equidistant fixing of the subsystems (A and B), comprising a base plate (27) provided with some air-orifices (M) and some through-holes (N) for fast mounting/dismounting of the subsystem (B) and a centrally fixed frame (29) for supporting and fixing the subsystem (A).
