The invention relates to a device and a method for extracting oil from oil-bearing seeds. According to the invention, the device has three work stations and comprises a stepper motor (13) driving, by means of a toothed gearing (15 and 16), a shaft (24) which rotates an upper plate (20) in working position, while ensuring passing from one working station to the next one, it uses for pressing an ultrasound transducer (1) which ensures mechanical pressing and converts the acoustic energy into mechanical work, increasing the extraction yield, the transducer (1) being provided with a concentrator (3) which, by its shape, ensures a uniform pressure for pressing the seeds, the extraction taking place in a cylindrical cavity located in the plate (18) at the base of which there is a piece (6) that enables oil flowing, acting both as a sieve and a collector, an electric resistor (7) which provides an extraction temperature in the range of 70...90°C, the value of the extraction pressure being in the range of 25...30 MPa, the amplitude of the acoustic signal ranging between 60...100 μm, the frequency between 40...45 Hz and the extraction time of 35...40 seconds, the oil being collected through an orifice intended to drain the oil towards the reservoir (5).
