Guide device of optical diffraction waves for expansion of the exit pupil.It is disclosed an optical device for expansion of the entry of light in two dimensions in a display of augmented reality.The device comprises a waveguide (12) and three networks of linear diffraction H0, H1, H2.An incident beam of a projector illuminates a network entry H0 with polychromatic light, and the light is coupled in the waveguide (12). The other two networks H1, H2 are superimposed one on top of the other.The light can be difratada over a network in a first order difratada H1 and H2 in the direction of the other network which can couple the light out of the waveguide (12) toward the viewer.In another arrangement, the networks cross H1, H2 can be replaced by a photonic crystal (19) having a set of regular pillars (20) that create a number of nets of the diffraction efficient
