PLC-BASED INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC LIGHT CONTROL SIMULATOR

A programmable logic controller (plc) - based intelligent traffic light control simulator is a traffic light model imitating the real-world process of controlling a four-way traffic light system. Said simulator is intended for instructional purposes in teaching plc technology and control automation system subjects. In the construction of the programmable logic controller (plc) based intelligent traffic light control simulator comprising of: a frame body having vertical posts, an upper and lower rectangular horizontal frame bar securedly welded to said vertical posts; a rectangular body structure tool compartment securedly mounted between said upper and lower rectangular horizontal frame bar; a control system compartment fixedly attached to said upper rectangular horizontal frame bar; a rectangular front panel fixedly attached to said control system compartment; a computer system having a central processing unit mounted inside of said control system compartment and a rectangular shape monitor securedly mounted to the upper right side of said rectangular front panel and above of said plc module; and a power fail system securedly mounted of said control system compartment.
