The present utility model discloses the process of producing food chips made from gumamela (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Linn) petals that has many nutritional values and are very abundant in our community comprising the steps of soaking the gumamela petals in a bowl of water, beating eggs in a separate bowl and putting a pinch of salt, preparing a mixture of flour and pepper, deeping the gumamela petals into the beaten eggs, dredging it into the flour mixture, preparing a frying pan and putting an amount of vegetable oil, deeping the co gumamela petals again into the beaten eggs and frying it until golden brown.
