The process of making Taro (Colocasia esculenta) Steamed Cake Flan comprising the steps of: cleaning plurality of Taro by rubbing the roots using a grater under running water to remove the roots; boiling said cleaned Taro in water having a pinch of salt using a pan for about 20 minutes; peeling said boiled Taro; grinding said peeled Taro until smooth consistency is obtained; drying said ground taro under heat of the sun for 1 hour; blending said dried ground Taro with the butter, baking powder, egg yolk, and milk; steaming the beaten egg yolk, condensed milk and evaporated milk for 30 minutes in a molder with a caramelized sugar using a steamer for 30 minutes; adding said blended said blended taro mixture to the steamed mixture; combining and steaming both mixture for about 30 minutes to make the taro steamed cake flan; cooling said taro steamed cake flan at room temperature; packaging taro steamed cake flan using a plastic or glass container.
