PROCESS OF PRODUCING FEEDSTUFF FOR BROILERS ENRICHED WITH GOLDEN APPLE SNAIL (Pomacea canaliculata)

Nowadays, golden apple snail is considered as a pest especially to farmers, because it is an invasive species in rice production. Farmers usually used commercial pesticide for faster elimination of these golden apple snails. Hence, by introducing this utility model, it could help the farmers to realize in converting these pests as feedstuff to animals such as broiler. This utility model aims to introduce a way of producing feeds for broilers enriched with golden apple snail, which undergo the following procedures: ( 1) collecting golden apple snail from the field where it is abundant and considered as a pest; (2) washing and removing unwanted particles -from the collected golden apple snail; (3) pounding the collected golden apple snail with the use of mortar or any hard object that can be used for pounding; (4) drying the pounded whole part of golden apple snail under the sun until it become crunchy; (5) powdering the golden apple snail; (6) mixing and formulating a home mixed feeds for broilers in a mash form with the following feed ingredients: rice bran D1 (10 pcnt ), corn yellow (58 pcnt ), soybean (22 pcnt ), salt, vitamins and minerals (2 pcnt ), and golden apple snail (8 pcnt ).
