A composition comprising an effective amount of a compound of formula: ** Formula ** wherein n is 1 to 3, the heterocycle (substituted) contains 5 or 6 member rings and the fused heterocycle contains nitrogen, oxygen or sulfur heteroatoms and the substituent is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, hydroxy, C1-6 alkyl, trifluoromethyl and phenyl (substituted), for use in the treatment of a neurodegenerative disease in a subject in need thereof.
