Isolated peptide consisting of the sequence SEQ ID NO: 5, or fragment thereof having a size less than 100 amino acids and comprising the sequence SEQ ID NO: 4, or any peptide or fragment having at least 80% identity with the sequence SEQ ID NO: 4, and which has a protective effect on the aggregation of polyQ-hHtt proteins.
