A method of transmitting service, comprising: receiving a signal frame of optical transport network, OTN, sent by a node upstream and extracting tag information from an overhead frame OTN signal; extracting a signaling packet and information OAM OTN layer from an overload of the OTN signal frame; converting the OAM information OTN layer OAM information of a link layer; and establishing or updating a forwarding base labeling in accordance with signaling packet and OAM information of the link layer; interrogating based forwarding labeling based on the labeling information in order to acquire information forwarding the OTN signal frame; and forwarding the OTN signal frame to a downstream node according to the forwarding information.
