Procedure for the preparation of a zeolitic material containing iron with the CHA or LEV topologies, characterized in that the doping with iron is carried out through a gas phase reaction using iron pentacarbonyl and the doping with iron is carried out in two partial stages ( i) gas phase charge and (ii) thermal decomposition, characterized in that in another partial stage (iii) a carrier gas is flowed through the zeolitic material with temperatures from 500 to 1000 ºC at a pressure of 10 to 1,000 kPa, in the one that is used as a carrier gas water vapor.
