A chimeric Newcastle disease virus (NDV), comprising a packaged genome comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding an F fusion protein having the transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains of an F protein and at least one epitope of an ectodomain of a protective antigen from an infectious agent or an antigen associated with a disease that is anchored at the C-terminus, so that fusion protein F is expressed and incorporated into the chimeric NDV, in which the antigen is not derived from a paramyxovirus , and in which the function of the F protein is supplied by the F fusion protein or by the native F protein.
