Procedure for consulting, by an electronic entity (EE), the status of a resource (S, K) of an electronic device equipped with a contactless module (CLF) and of the electronic entity (EE), which comprises the following steps: - issuance (E10) by the electronic entity (EE) of a request (REQ) for the status of the resource (S, K); - reception of information (INF) on the status of the resource (S, K) in response to the indicated request; - save (E30) the information (INF) of the resource status (S, K); - execution (E31) of a part of at least one application (APPL) by a processor of the electronic entity (EE); - resorting (E32), due to the execution of the (APPL), to a programming interface (API) that causes the reading (E34) of the indicated status information (INF) of the saved resource (S, K).
