In various embodiments, the present invention provides cycloalkyl pyrrolidinecompounds and methods for theiruse in the treatment and/or prevention of various diseases, conditions andsyndromes, including central nervous system (CNS) disorders,such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and sleep disorder as well asmethods for their synthesis. The invention also relatesto pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds of the invention, aswell as methods of inhibiting reuptake of endogenousmonoamines, such as dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine from the synapticcleft and methods of modulating oneor more monoamine transporter.
