This disclosure concerns compounds having the formula (Iz) which are useful asinhibitors of spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) and are thus useful for treating avariety of diseases anddisorders that are mediated or sustained through the activity of Syk. Thisdisclosure also relatesto pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds, methods of usingthese compoundsin the treatment of various diseases and disorders, processes for preparingthese compounds andintermediates useful in these processes.(see above formula)
