TRIM CHAIN ENGAGER ASSEMBLIES FOR A MINING MACHINE

An assembly for selectively engaging and disengaging a trim chain from therotating means of apotash mining machine is provided, where the trim chain is driven by therotating means to cutthe outer profile of a mine drift. The assembly may comprise a brakingarrangement whereinengaging the brake engages the trim chain to the rotating means, anddisengaging the brakedisengages the trim chain from the rotating means.
